These bags are made from thrifted/upcycled Bank coin/money bags. Each one is unique and one of a kind. I normally use two bags to make each bag so both sides are different.
Because these are old, heavily used canvas bags they do have stains, creases, wear and some small frayed holes. They were washed twice before turning them into bags so some of the print may be faded. The base is waxed canvas and the interior is unlbeached muslin utility canvas.
The larger tote has pockets on both interior sides with yarn guides. The smaller ones have a divided interior pocket that runs the width of one side, handle length varies with each bag and they are not intended to be shoulder straps.
The Chemical Bank tote bag is 16" x wide x 15" laying flat with a 10" x 6" boxed bottom. The Merchants and Boatmans bags are 15" wide x 13" tall and are 9" x 6" on the bottom.
The waxed canvas is naturally water and stain resistant and will get better and softer with use and age. Crease and wrinkles are a normal effect and add to the character of the bag.
